Legends at Las Moras will bring presenters, historians, artists, performers, volunteers, and other special guests to our community throughout the six-week exhibition.
We’re looking for lodging partners willing to donate or sponsor accommodations for these guests.
Whether you can provide a guest room for one night, a vacation rental for a weekend, or sponsor a hotel stay, your contribution helps us bring exceptional programming to Southwest Texas while keeping the event accessible to our community.

Visitors can choose from a variety of accommodations in and around Fort Clark Springs, Brackettville and the surrounding region, including the Barracks Motel at Fort Clark Springs, vacation rentals, guest houses, RV accommodations, and nearby hotels.

Barracks Motel
Located in the heart of the Fort Clark National Register Historic District these former U.S. Army two-story stone cavalry barracks were converted in 1959 by John Wayne’s Batjac Production Company into 38 motel units for use by the cast and crew of his epic film, The Alamo. The buildings, which date from 1931 and 1932, have been in adaptive reuse as comfortable individual lodging for over sixty-five years. Two-story stone cavalry barracks have occupied this site since 1874.
